The Tuscaloosa County Democratic Women launched their organization on May 16, 2020. The current officers presiding over the Tuscaloosa County Democratic Party are: Chair Dexter Lowery, Vice-Chair (currently vacant), Treasurer Abby Morgan and Interim Secretary Linda Lee.

The purpose of this organization is to work diligently with communities of women across the county that aspire to make positive changes. To empower women to lead and be led by the influence of conviction for a better tomorrow.

We desire to see this organization embrace the diversity of skill and support all inclusive participation so as to feel valued appreciated and be part of an asset to the group’s mission. It is not the level of skill we measure, but the willingness to be measured by the skills one is willing to share.
